Authorized Halal International Selangor Operator ("Authorized HIS Operator" or "AHO") is a concept introduced by Halal International Selangor with the support of the Selangor Standing Committee on Consumer Affairs and Halal Industry. AHO refers to operators involved in the Halal industry including suppliers, buyers, traders, service providers, manufacturers, importers or exporters who are part of the domestic and international Halal trade supply chain, and who have met the required Halal compliance standards and are accredited by the AHO Board Members.
Objectives of AHO

To attract international Halal investors to Selangor through the facilities provided to AHO members as facilitators.

To encourage more local Halal industry players to penetrate the global market.

To position Selangor as a global Halal economic hub offering one-stop Halal products and services.

To stimulate the Halal economy by enhancing consumer confidence through the principles of toyyiban and integrity embedded within AHO.

Concept
AHO provides a one-stop centre platform aimed at driving the Halal ecosystem through the empowerment of existing digital platforms (such as HALALSEL) and the development of new platforms (such as the Halal Integrated Trade System, "HITS").
